Welcoming ‘indieopium’ to our managerial family!
Good afternoon, Main Menu community!
As our second last acquisition of the year, we wanted to make sure we took care of the other side of the coin leading into TwitchCon (and beyond)— the behind the scenes work that goes on to ensure that Main Menu continues to be the awesome broadcasting team you know and love.
Numerous members of our broadcasting team have taken on event planning, coordinating, and managerial roles over the past 2 years, which has slowly taken a toll on both their personal and professional (broadcasting) lives. Because of this, we started the search to find someone that would be capable of handling some of these roles immediately, while also being malleable enough to adapt and evolve into a much more permanent, managerial role in the many years to come — and we’re happy to announce our first acquisition today!

Having been an avid supporter for the past 3 years, there’s not too many folks within the Twitch universe that do not know Indie’s name — whether as a music connoisseur on Twitter, a moderator in numerous channels, or that troll that knows how to walk the fine line between funny and horribly offensive… but that’s what makes her so lovable, right?
Hailing from Denmark, Indie is a teacher by trade, having spent numerous years mastering the art of “how do I reach these kids?” which gives her the appropriate tools to manage this zoo-like group of rag-tag broadcasters.
Her new role as Main Menu’s Executive Assistant will include taking care of internal coordination, communication, and organization, allowing all of our broadcasters to go back to what they do best: broadcasting. Over time, Indie will also be learning the ropes of social media and internal business affairs, as her role will continue to evolve in the many months, and hopefully years to come.
Indie has also accepted an additional role of being iKasperr’s new Community Manager, which will be announced in greater detail in a separate post — but needless to say, her new position within the Main Menu community is one that should be welcomed with open arms. With her work ethic and organizational skills, this means MORE Main Menu for everyone to enjoy.
We thank Indie for taking on the incredibly difficult task of assisting our broadcasters — anyone that willingly agrees to assist Richard_Hammer as his… fluffer… during his Twelve Months of Dick Photoshoot must be the most dedicated member of this community.
Either that, or she didn’t know what she was signing up for until it was too late.
