Would you shoot them if your child was there?
You are probably all rolling your eyes saying “another black lives matter rant” but this is getting crazier each and every day. Would you shoot and kill a man in front of your child?
Well in the case of Philando Castile, He was shot in the arm by a police officer with his wife and little daughter in the car.
Before I continue…. Castile was licensed to carry a gun and upon getting pulled over he had let the officer know that he was reaching for his wallet to get his driver’s license. It’s not like he was coming at the officer in a rude manner. He was just giving him a heads up so that he wouldn’t feel uncomfortable when he sees it.
In my opinion, that would not have happened if they were all white. This brings me back to white privileges. When being white you do not get suspected of doing crimes. You do not get pulled over the same way as blacks or and other races. You get away with a lot.
I feel like this is a shoot first and ask questions later type of thing now. This is becoming a hobby for them. I am only 19 years old and I am already scared for my unborn children. I am scared that they would have to grow up in this cruel world.
I am already praying to god that my children will not be in the wrong places at the wrong times because you may never know what could happen.
As a colored mother you don’t just worry about bad thugs and drugs you have to worry about the police now too and that’s crazy because I thought they were here to protect us. Now we have to keep an eye out for them too
Lately my dad has been telling me to be careful coming home. Why? Because he feels that the police are out to get us that’s why. I don’t blame him for being scared for his only daughter I would too.
If it does not make sense to you why he is saying that then read this article

Colored kids are getting killed by cops and its crazy, if I were to interview the cop that shot Castillo I would ask “Would you shoot them in front of your kid?” “why are they so intimidating to you?”
