Sly Lee is a co-founder of Emerge, a silicon valley based start up that is making the next form of communication by digitizing our sense of touch. Sly’s co-founders are Isaac Castro Garcia and Mauricio Teran, who they met at Singularity University’s Global Solutions Program in 2015, hosted at Ames NASA Research Park and fully sponsored by Google.

Sly is a designer, scientist, and serial entrepreneur. His work has been featured in WIRED Magazine, Fast Company, TEDx, National Geographic Wild. SU documented some of his adventures in this article.

An award winning photographer and designer, Sly combines his passion for art with science and technology into new applications. He is a Skoll World Forum 2016 speaker, World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and was nominated for 2015 Fast Company Innovation by Design Award.
