Not to make light of the situation but….”what would Rev King say?” Just had to throw that in.

Seriously, this piece is FIRE! I knew from the title, you was ‘bout to open up some worms…. And the same folks trying to silence YOU still got racist co-workers, friends, neighbors, and families they don’t speak up to. Be your brother’s keeper and stop policing Black people’s thoughts and valid anger. We watched Philando get murdered with his woman sitting next to him, and a 4-year behind him. His first sentence began with “Sir…” Terence Crutcher’s hands were raised, but somehow danger could be sensed from the sky.

Chances are Justine didn’t deserve this (condolences to the people who loved her), but neither did Tamir, Ayanna, Walter, Eric, etc., etc., etc. Sandra damn sure didn’t deserve to get dragged out of her vehicle after she complied and accepted her ticket? Nope. Most, if not all these cases have videos, and yet...

Mike Brown had “superhuman strength”, and his unarmed ass ran “towards the cop”, thus says the cop. I still never got why his body laid in the street for 4 hours. But with no video, let’s go with the cop’s version. They vilified this young man and his mom, and continue to do so. Meanwhile, for THIS case, somebody might actually serve time. Should we call that justice or hypocrisy? Maybe the officer had reason to “fear for his life”. Why don’t we give him the benefit of the doubt just like all those others?

Son of Baldwin, I stand with you wholeheartedly on this sentiment. You spoke the truth. Period.
