After a couple 2U Halloween’s under my belt, I am still amazed at how much fun it is to unite a team, plan and compete in the costume competition. The only thing I could equate 2BOO to is the days leading up to Christmas as a child. The costume idea planning is like dreaming up my list for Santa. October 30th is like Christmas eve, wondering what Santa (Chip) is up to and what toys will be waiting under the tree the next morning.
This year did not disappoint. It was the most organized 2Boo to date, thanks to our internal Events Manager, Chiara Arch and her team. (aka Village People Native American Felipe Rose)and her team.
The creativity and sheer brilliance of costumes is nothing short of AMAZING and truly captures 2U’s culture. Our executive team doesn’t just lead from the top in our business, they’re also “all-in” with their costumes! Take Cathy Graham AKA Miss Lemons to Lemonade Stand, what other CFO has this much fun?!
Brad Adams, EVP of PES didn’t stray from his “Addams Family” roots as Wednesday Addams.
And Chip, who can talk about commitment to costume without shouting out our CEO — he even turned his home into a pirate ship!
Our company is so unique that curious friends and family text me on Halloween to ask what fun Chip and the events department brewed up this year.
I love this company. We work hard and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
I was excited to expand my family this year and welcome a baby 2Ute “Ace” from Top Gun to the mix. It was also fun to see more kiddy 2Utes celebrating.
I hope everyone looked around like I did on Halloween, absorbed the goodness that is 2BOO and smiled. Watch my time lapse and relive the moment. It can hopefully tie you over until we celebrate again next year!
