A Better Tomorrow

Dear optimist,

I heard you wanted to be a better friend, employee, sibling, and partner. Getting there is the hard part…

My mother taught me that who I am tomorrow is determined by the actions & decisions that I make today. It’s wishful thinking to hope that we’ll one day wake up as better versions of ourselves.

“But the only real change come from inside” — J Cole

It’s easy to change who we are on the surface but it doesn’t really result in change that materializes; real change has to come from within you. Reflect on your days in a journal, talk to a mentor, or ask for feedback from those around you. Recognize where you are today and that’ll help you figure out what you ought to do for a better tomorrow.
