Why should I use Notesgen when I have Khan Academy and other websites?
A lot of people have asked me — Why should I come to Notesgen if I have Khan Academy and other similar portals?
My answer to them is –
In the earlier days of Khan Academy, Salman Khan was asked that why would anyone come to Khan Academy when YouTube is there. Khan Academy succeeded because it was able to aggregate highly relevant educational content whereas YouTube had broader video content. In a similar way, Notesgen will carve its place in the sun because we will aggregate student generated notes, which deals with a single concept or part of a single concept in the educational sense as opposed to a chapter or topic that content on Khan academy or other learning portals typically focus on.
It has been established that peer learning is a key driver of learning. Notesgen is based on the value-proposition that some students learn best when learning from notes taken by students with similar learning methods. When content from a peer is delivered based on one’s own learning style, especially if the content was created by another student who has already pursued the course herself, upto 10X higher value add can be achieved both with motivation to learn and ease of learning.
