5 Reasons Why You’re Not Successful Yet
1. You talk more than you do.
The internal dialogue going on in your head, the constant posting on social media, the weekly conversations with friends and family…it’s all talk and last time I checked, that’s not the recipe for success. You know what is, though? ACTION! Invest more time, energy, and resources in that and watch your life change.
2. You’re not completely honest with yourself.
Something isn’t quite right. Maybe it’s your mindset, maybe it’s the people you’re hanging out with, possibly it’s the late night Snapchat scrollin’ or weekend Netflix binging…or perhaps something else? But the truth be told: something’s off. And until you can sit down and have an honest conversation with yourself about what’s working and what isn’t, you’re prone to repeat the same habits that are preventing you from achieving the success you claim you want.
3. You’re not humble.
Anyone who achieved success did not do it alone. Humble thyself and ask for help. Yes, you.
4. You’re too worried about what others think.
Unless they’re your loved ones, colleagues, target customers, or someone else whose relationship you value, you don’t need to pay them no mind — especially not the haters. Invest in a solid pair of hater blockerz and keep it pushin’.
5. You like the idea of being successful more than you like the work it takes to get there.
There is no such thing as an overnight success, and even if there is, it’s moreso in the “15-minutes of fame” realm and extremely short lived. Successful people are built, not born. So if you want success, you have to be ready to put in some serious work.
