Day 87

Then you must go up. It’s gravity. Or something. Be thankful for the lows. They teach you what not to do. They let you understand where you don’t want to be. Next time you’ll fight like hell not to be in that place. You know the place — well the places. The deep dark ones. The ones no one talks about — unless it’s shielded by self-deprecating humor.

But seriously, be thankful for anxiety, depression, frustration and failure. They force you to fight like hell for every moment. No smile, word, breath or sniff of life is taken for granted. Learn how to fight in dark places and become the light when it matters. You matter.
