Online bullying is only a problem if you’re out here seeking validation. In a state of grave insecurity, and you communicate not to pass a message, but expecting compassionate patting on the head from Internet nobodies.

The fact you don’t receive validation but insults from randoms – is too much for your feeble soul. You went out there feigning respectability but begging attention and validation. An open hand. An undeveloped foetus.

And they laughed at you. They called you names.

It’s called honest customer feedback. Bit harsh, but that’s life.

If you are secure in yourself, online bullying is a joke. It can’t hurt you. Words from strangers.

Sounds that hit your ear then dissipate. Shapes on a screen.

The real problem becomes censoring something extremely precious —online freedom of speech – to coddle something completely irrelevant: people’s “feelings”.

Online freedom of speech has been an unexpected gift of technology. Something that closes the gap between what used to be two isolated universes: the rich and the poor. Knowledge. And the possibility to communicate your predicament with a view to organise… against its perpetrators.

This is something that humanity never had. It never existed. Books used to be carved in stone, the prerogative of the rich.

Even the printing press didn’t take it much further. Books informed a little, not a lot. The decision “what to print” was in the hands of the rich, still. Esoteric knowledge an unspeakable luxury. Most people couldn’t even read.

And this was the default for all of history. Until the late 80s. And really, late 90s.

The internet exploded. World knowledge at the tip of your fingers. It could have been our complete liberation.

But it wasn’t.

Because morons who care more about their vexed insecurities were complicit in internet censorship.

People —mostly women, mostly middle class – organised to put a veneer of respectability and censorious bullshit over the raw, infinite internet.

“Family friendly”. “Conspiracy theories”. “Fake news”. Such concepts are bourgeois sanctioned government repression. Or better, the ultra rich using insecure people’s weakness to censor the bold.

Using “respectable” middle class pudor to gag and isolate the only resistance to whatever is wrong.

And boy, is there a lot wrong.

Everyone who complains about fake news, conspiracy theory and online bullying is a spineless foetus who wandered into adults’ business seeking to take command. Of things they don’t understand. There’s no forgiveness for these people. They are unwittingly taking back FREEDOM.

They might not know what they’re doing. But their work may well be definitive.

When the government is done reshaping your whole existential panorama in its propagandist image… erasing all dissidence as “conspiracy theory” & “fake news”… there will be nothing left. But dystopia. That’s the world these pussies are marching us into.

You want to live in that world? I lived in it once. It was so bad, that I made my life’s mission to move here.

From the frying pan into the fire.
