Flash Floods Cause Damage in LA County

Rain Thursday afternoon caused flash floods in parts of northern Los Angeles County. The National Weather Service reported torrential rain, flash floods and a funnel cloud near Lake Hughes, California. Photos and videos from the area showed roads that had been washed away by the floods and cars stranded in the mud.

Hail covered the ground in areas, including Palmdale.
