I’m curious about how buying habits enter into it. I reduced my meat consumption over a decade ago for a variety of reasons, including economic ones.
Since that time I’ve moved to a country where meat and poultry is much cheaper and my consumption hasn’t increased. (Fresh seafood is more expensive here, so I’m eating more sardines, which are still economical.) I’m just in the habit of eating less meat now.
