Brexit and the Inevitability of Planetary Evolution

In our lifetime, I wholeheartedly agree Phillip! Your thoughts on Planetary Unity are thankfully exhibited across Medium, displaying an awakening I must admit I did not think possible. It is more important than ever that we continue this push.

The telltale sign of any national or corporate empire coming to the end of its run is the overwhelming desire to return to the ‘glory days’. The majority of England and Wales have regrettably decided that this is the best course of action for their future — the arrogance responsible for their losing of many colonies has once again reared its head.

However, there are many in the UK who are appalled by the ‘Leave’ decision and I hope they do not lose hope in what we are working to achieve. If anything, this offers the opportunity to realise the importance of their efforts to create an inclusive planet.

I also believe the discussions around future Mars colonisation can tie nicely into a Planetary Unity (although I hope we are not required to wait this long to realise the evolution you speak of). By this I mean that if the human race can fully process our existence in relation to the size the universe, our current prejudices will pale in significance.

By increasing the number of available resources and forcing our collective gaze skywards, we create the possibility of working together in order to move away from the currently damaging discourse demanding divisions.
