Det finnes ikke så mange morsomme spill på blockchain. Dette vil vi gjøre noe med. Sjekk ut vårt prosjekt — Cryptomafia.

Robin Pedersen i Blockchangers fikk ideen til Cryptomafia for et par år tilbake. Det populære spillet Norwegian Mafia fra barndommen var en inspirasjon.

Vi synes Norwegian Mafia var så kult da vi var små, så etter å ha sett hva Cryptokitties har fått til, begynte vi å utvikle Cryptomafia på fritiden.

I 2017 sammen Christoffer Endrensen og en kunstner fra Egypt laget de den første prototypen og tegninger. I tillegg utviklet Robin to ulike brettspill varianter av spillet.

Ideen er at hver eneste spiller er mafiaboss med en gjeng av lojale gangstere. Målet med spillet er å vinne å skaffe seg flere gangstere og angripe andre spillere. Når du er mektig kan du ta over sentrale fasiliteter og monopolisere dem, og bruke dine unike gangstere til å monopolisere sentrale tjenester i økonomien. …

There are big expectations to how blockchain will transform public sector. While few governments take action, many are leading the way, like in the Middle East.

For the past year, Kieran Brown has been leading blockchain research and policy work with the major Middle East government for their Smart Cities initiative. Kieran, senior consultant at Berkeley Research Group in London, thinks that one of the main obstacles of implementing blockchain in public sector is low levels of understanding.

The awareness and competence of jurisdictions and the political leaders and senior civil servants that run them is concerning. Especially as citizen sentiment towards advanced technology (A.I, and blockchain among them) is hardening. This will have a negative effect downstream in eventual regulation.” …
