Radiation is definitely a big concern. The effects are cumulative and no one person knows where their tipping point lies. Neither does any doctor or technician.

There are other concerns too. For one, compression of delicate tissue can and does result in serious health issues that may never have been a problem otherwise. This is plain old common sense and I second guessed my own visceral gut reaction because of what my doctor said. I went back for more even though I knew it was a bad idea.
