Follow the path: A new journey for Maria’s

After our Technicolor collection went all over the world, we introduce or brand in New York with the collaboration of Flying Solo with an awesome and warm reception, we are thrilled to announce we are coming to one of the perfect places in Guatemala: Antigua.
Where colors and traditions are lived in every sigh, after a strong journey we’ll be opening our second store in the country.
Casa Santo Domingo, the place to make it happen. On the past Holly Week we had the pleasure to open our pop up store there, where Maria’s Bag made this amazing presentation each day.
Weavers make part of it, international visitors were amazed of colors and story, and our fellow Guatemalans came to appreciate and purchase our bags; each one carrying a heavy meaning of colors, texture, technique and story. We were thrilled about it, so we need to come back at this unique spot where we will be able to take Maria’s even more far to make our culture be know worldwide.
This Saturday 29th, we are blissful to invite you to our opening in Casa Santo Domingo at 10.30AM. We’ll have the pleasure of have the Maria’s Talk guided by Ruth González Marín who will be explaining about San Antonio Aguas Calientes textiles, technique and the meaning of those incredible blues that categorize the region.
We are thankful for always being there, for your purchase, for believing in art and help to preserve a sublime technique that have made Guatemala so rich in time.
