While I don’t have an explicit “no travel” wedding policy, I typically don’t travel for weddings: partly that’s because my closest friends aren’t getting married yet (#Spinsters4Life), but also because I simply have other financial priorities right now. That said, when a pretty good friend of mine got married this year and I couldn’t travel, I still made sure to RSVP in a timely manner, send a card, and bought a modest item off the registry (because everyone needs napkins).
