All my life I have been surrounded by creative minds, and since 2006 I am professionally curious about their behavior in the field of business; during my research I have found the constant of a great and incessant capacity of the innovative entrepreneur to generate the next big thing. Unfortunately, the qualities have disadvantages.

In 1989, Michael Cimino was the first film director in the history who broke a studio during the filming of a movie. The movie was Heaven's Gate; The studio, United Artists, founded by Charles Chaplin.
This creative company was the victim of the financial decision making of an innovative mind. The film began with a budget of four million dollars and ended up spending forty five million. You can still find articles on the net under the title I chose for this chapter.
Albert Einstein describes imagination as intelligence by having fun; Many have heard his phrase: "Imagination is more important than knowledge."
Actually I think so; but for the creative mind this recipe must be measured when the decisions do not connect with the future and if they do with the past.
All my life I have been surrounded by creative minds, and since 2006 I am professionally curious about their behavior in the field of business; during my research I have found the constant of a great and incessant capacity of the innovative entrepreneur to generate the next big thing. Unfortunately, the qualities have disadvantages. The new ideas in business require implementation, and many times this implantation is more complex than the generation of the idea. The new ideas do not allow consolidating the former, and the new ideas will have the same unfortunate fate as the previous ones.Enthusiasm for new ideas becomes habit; thus, the exploration of new projects in different market segments or different industries goes from being an exercise of the projects department to being a silent chaos of new and endless businesses. What about fail, fast and frequently and cheap? In mental chaos there is no mistake. There is no doubt that the creative company generates innovation for its customers, society and economy. But do they generate it for themselves? Is there richness in ideas when there are so many that innovation companies are constantly deteriorating? Is it true that the Pivot is the herald of wealth? The boredom and, at the same time, the excitement of implementing the new idea in the creative company are undeniable. What about this? First, one acquires the habit of creating new ideas; Then there is a great plasticity of the creative mind; Finally, they respond to any problem since they are the main inputs of the innovation. The three reasons create the chaos perfect storm... and at the same time: opportunity. From the Medici in the Italian Renaissance period (dedicated to "sponsoring" artists in Florence serving as patrons or patrons) to British producers and musical managers in the 60's and venture capital in California have now recognized both enormous potential and a great Weakness and power in the creative mind. After all ... and I'm paraphrasing Julio Cortázar: "Not everyone goes crazy, those things have to deserve them"@MarioFRetana
