Mayweather v McGregor: Who will win? Your guess is as good as mine!
When it comes to this fight, before it even starts, there are two things we can be sure of — There will be one winner at the end of the night and the winners surname will start with an M and end with an r…

This has been a fight that has been talked about long before it was even officially announced.
There is possibly even more interest in this fight than there was in the fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao in 2015.
In the one corner we have an undefeated professional boxing champion and in the other corner we have someone who has never professionally boxed, although he is a champion in mixed martial arts and he has competed professionally in MMA since 2008.
Considering McGregor has never boxed professionally before, Mayweather seems like the clear favorite. It is after all his sport. He has done it professionally for many years and he has never lost a fight. Surely he wont lose this one… or will he?
Although I am interested in the fight and although I will wake up in the middle of the night for it, I’m not necessarily a fan of either of them. In fact, I’ve never seen McGregor fight and the only Mayweather fight I ever saw was the one against Pacquiao.
In spite of this, I hope McGregor wins. Why? Firstly its because I supported Pacquiao in the last fight that Mayweather had. Unfortunately Mayweather won that fight and I’d still like to see Mayweather lose. But other than that, during events where I don’t really support anyone, I often enjoy supporting the underdog, the least likely winner and in this fight I see McGregor as the least likely winner.
I think Mayweather is going to win. I said it above and I’ll say it again… it’s his sport and he has done it professionally his entire career. He has never lost to anyone else who boxed professionally, so what’s the chances of him losing to someone who has never boxed professionally before?
So if I was a betting man, my money would be on Floyd “Money” Mayweather simply because I see it as the safest bet and the most likely result.
I however wouldn’t rule out McGregor entirely and I think he has a chance even if it is a very small chance. McGregor can win this… but the only way I see McGregor winning is if he can win by knockout.
If the fight goes the full distance, I don’t see any chance of a McGregor win. I even think that until McGregor wins by knockout (if he wins by knockout), Mayweather will have won each round before that. Although I don’t see it happening, if McGregor can find a way to land enough clean and powerful shots, there is a chance he can win it.
What do you think is going to happen?
