I don’t think it’s fair that Hillary gets hurt for fraud she had no part in, and I agree it would be hard to prevent that. A significant number of people who believe fraud is occurring are simply jumping to blaming her, which is unfair and undermines their own credibility. At the same time, I want the results of these elections to reflect the truth. Those two goals are at odds, but I’d err on the side of investigating irregularities, especially when it’s unlikely they’d be drastic enough to actually swing the winner.
What I want to investigate isn’t meant to be personal. It’s probably impossible to find who actually rigged the machines, if they were. My main goal is to get hand recounts of the disputed elections. Long-term, we need to be fixing or moving away from electronic voting, but proof of actual discrepancies can help provide the momentum for that.
