National Level Management Entrance Examination — MAT 2017

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level management entrance examination. The test scores are used for admission to various MBA, PGDM and allied management programmes. The exam is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). More than 600 B-Schools accept MAT exam scores.

MAT is held four times in a year: February, May, September and December.

The schedule for MAT December 2017 has been announced. The paper-based test will be conducted on December 10, 2017 (10.00 am-12.30 pm), and computer-based test will take place on December 16, 2017.

MAT 2017 Eligibility:

Here’s the eligibility criteria for the MAT 2017 December exam:

1. Graduates in any discipline can take the exam.
2. Final year graduation students can also apply.
3. There’s no age limit for MAT exam.

MAT 2017 Process:
MAT 2017 Application Form — Candidates willing to appear for MAT 2017 need to first fill in the application form. Registration for MAT December 2017 can be done by logging on to the official website at apps.aima.in/matdec17.

MAT 2017 application fees is Rs 1271 plus GST. Candidates can apply through any one of three following modes:

1. Online Payment
2. Demand Draft
3. Cash

MAT 2017 Exam Analysis:
MAT is conducted 4 times in a year. MAT 2017 did not witness any significant changes compared to the previous papers.

MAT exam paper is divided into 5 sections, each comprising 40 questions. The difficulty level of the exam is usually easy to moderate. MAT 2017 Exam Pattern:
MAT Exam pattern is held for almost two-and-a-half hours. The test covers two hundred (200) questions in 150 minutes. The aspirant is tested in the following five areas: Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. There are 40 questions in each section. Each question carries one mark, whereas, one/fourth mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

MAT 2017 Syllabus:
MAT Exam syllabus has five sections: Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. Aspirants need a thorough grip on logical and analytic reasoning, verbal ability, data interpretation, quant, mathematics and social awareness.

MAT 2017 Admit Card:
Candidates appearing for Paper Based and Computer Based Test will be allotted admit cards at least a month prior to the date of examination. Candidates appearing for December MAT 2017 Exam can download the admit cards from December 2 onwards from the official website.

MAT 2017 Application Form:
Candidates willing to appear for MAT 2017 December need to register for the exam. Candidates can choose to submit the MAT 2017 online application form or can do so in person. Candidates must note that the application form needs to be filled in carefully and correctly. Incomplete/forms having incorrect details will be rejected by the authorities. Candidates are advised to check the form details carefully before submitting.
