A day so big it needs its own weekend
Celebrate National Marquette Day with events Friday and Saturday
Celebrate National Marquette Day, Saturday, Feb. 18, with an entire weekend of exciting events and prizes. Attend any of these events and get your name entered into a drawing for raffle prizes, including a signed Jimmy Butler pennant, preferred housing assignment, front row tickets to a Milwaukee Bucks game, dinner with Dr. Xavier Cole at his house, Rec Center Fit Passes, and much more.
Students can also take the Golden EAGLE Pledge to vow to celebrate responsibly while looking out for one another. It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for — make sure you don’t miss out.
Here’s what’s happening:
Friday, Feb. 17
6 p.m. — Lot F (across from the Al McGuire Center)
Be one of the first 500 attendees and receive a special Marquette giveaway! The event will include a s’mores roast, mac ‘n’ cheese and hot chocolate. The alumni basketball game tips off at 7 p.m.
9 p.m. to 1 a.m. — AMU Ballrooms
Join Late Night Marquette for a silent battle of the DJs. Student DJs will battle it out for your votes. At the end of the night, there can only be one silent disco champion!
Saturday, Feb. 18
3:30 p.m. — BMO Harris Bradley Center
9 p.m — Al McGuire Center
Hosted by Late Night Marquette, this event includes knockout basketball, a photo booth, stress ball making, raffle giveaways and more!
Events include the Schroeder Stair Climb, Straz Tower Puppy Chow Pep Rally and the Apartments Council Breakfast of Champions.
