Becoming Superhuman: The Future of Humanity
Chris Herd

Thought provoking piece!

I am concerned that this type view misses the very important fact that we have bodies and we are organic … and this includes our brains.

We are not only brains … our bodies are an important factor.

Our brains are organic too …but if we go organic brain to machine brain then organic bandwidth constraints mean we are bound to lose.

Would you really want to replace your organic brain with a metal one?

Would a metal brain mind be the same as an organic brain mind?

Is mind more than just software?

Would replacing organic brains be the same as replacing people with machines?

You describe a type of mind meld with technology … other futures exist … others which are less integrated.

I am not just a number .. I am not just a brain … my mind is brain and body.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
