That is why, I think, the best areas of study today focus on culling the worthy information from the bad and presenting it concisely and effectively.

Data analysis, data visualization, customized “views” of data — these bring us only the information we need and want. The mass of information isn’t going away (hopefully), so let’s find a way to use it right.
