This is the END of drag & drop page builders

The initial idea behind Drag & Drop page builders was to provide a tool for laics with no IT background for creating and administering the website. Such page builder is fairly easy to learn to work with and should provide freedom to the web owner in terms of individual elements, their position and look on their website.

That all sounds nice, so where’s the problem?

Laic web owners who tend to create own website are surely good at something — at their own profession. However, they’re usually not as good at creating websites. And that’s OK. Why should they waste their talent, time and energy to learn to work with some complicated page builder? The final result will probably look shabby, anyway.

How did we get from handcoding each website from scratch, through customizable themes to fancy “easy to use” drag & drop builders?

And why is it time to move on to something even better? Read the full article on our Pixenio blog to find out and please, share your thoughts with us by leaving a comment.

Hint: future prospects are bright, you won’t always need to pay web developer to keep your site updated nor rely on Facebook algorithm when reaching out to your audience :)
