A 14minutes and 42 seconds

In the Gospel reading for Ash Wednesday Jesus says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Which can mean something like, our lives are a reflection of what we spend our time doing. Just as thinking about going to the gym doesn’t produce fitness, thinking of spirituality doesn’t produce a deeper connection to God and neighbor.

Lent is an opportunity to re-connect with spiritual practices by spending time doing them.

This guide helps you use digital media, specifically your phone, as a tool for spiritual reflection rather than a source of distraction. So if you can’t get to the Knubel Chapel at 12noon for an Ash Wednesday Service on March 1st or stop by the Chapel between 9am-5pm for an individual distribution of ashes, click these links for an 14 minute meditation. “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

What is Ash Wednesday?

How does one pause to see another?

Psalm 51: A traditional psalm of confession

As simple as it gets in this complicated world

A song of faith

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
