Santelli, Trump lit torch, Bobby Knight starts inferno

The first glimpse of a U.S. Revolution started on February 19th, 2009 by Rick Santelli in his epic Chicago Mercantile Exchange remarks broadcast by CNBC https://youtu.be/wcvSjKCU_Zo. This spark ignited the Tea Party movement and has simmered since.

Donald J. Trump dipped his torch in the embers on 6/16/15 https://youtu.be/q_q61B-DyPk. Since his remarkable rise through the gauntlet of debates and primaries there has been whispers of revolution along with the rise of Bernie Sanders on the left.

Much like Joe Kernen who was completely tone deaf to the historic event unfolding on his show the mainstream media have been awash in denial, disaproval and outright repudiation of Trump.

Bobby Knight broke through today and in all places humble Evansville, Indiana. Mr. Knight said what many think but hasn’t yet risen to the surface. Few voters care about Democrats or Republicans and Mr. Knight made it clear Trump transcends party.

Much like Joe Kernen most never realize without the aid of hindsight history being forged in their presence. Bobby Knight grasped the torch and set fire to the political establishment. Like Joe Kernen before them Bill Kristol, Charles Krauthammer and others have been passed by for a younger more in touch political commentator like A. J. Delgado.
