Throughout the ICC proceedings, the Kenyan government has sown a climate of hostility toward anyone who offered information to the prosecution. It has blocked the Prosecutor’s access to the police, and has refused to respond to standard requests for bank, telephone, tax and other records.

This also means that the remainder of the witnesses continue living in fear considering it was all so clear that part of the reason for the ICC cases collapse was due to witness intimidation, not only through bribery as well, but also through actual killings. What this portends for Kenya is that we forge more into uncertainty.
