Anything you can do in a museum — which doesn’t include touching or smelling—VR can do better
VR Will Break Museums

This is something that will have to prove.
Observing first reactions of people having VR experience there is allways this question that is poping up — when I end watching content rich VR (and being exposed to this super feeling of being there) and take off the VR glasses than what? How will you manage to extend these rich feelings (and avoid the axe effect of going from one place to another).
My thinking is that in the first phase VR will enrich museum content. Because you will have best of both words. And yes, later when VR will become commodity and established platform everything will change. An musems will adopt to it.
