Dear players, MATR1X FIRE will commence the alpha test Mission Frontier on August 8th! To ensure your joyful experience during the test, we have prepared this guide to assist your journey with Matr1x FIRE!
I. Test information
- Test period: August 8th to August 28th , every day from 18:00 to 23:00(SGT)
- Test device: both Android and iOS
- Test format: this is a closed alpha test; all avatar data will be deleted after the test
II. Downloads
- IOS(TestFlight) Download
- Option A- Download via official website:
1）Download TestFlight from App Store
2）Open the event page of Mission Frontier from Matr1x official website on your mobile device. Click Download and the system will automatically identify the mobile system and start download
- Option B- Download via activation code through TestFlight:
1）Receive verification email from TestFlight with activation code
2）Download TestFlight from App Store, enter the code and start download
2. Android Download
Download via official website: Open the event page of Mission Frontier from Matr1x official website on your mobile device. Click Download and the system will automatically identify the mobile system and start download
3. Size of installation package
Both installation packages for Android and iOS have a size of 800 MB. It is recommended to reserve 3 GB of memory to facilitate the smooth operation of the game.
4. Mobile Configuration Requirements
In order to ensure a smooth gaming experience, it is recommended to use devices with the following configuration to participate in the test:
IOS mobile phone: memory of 2 GB or above, chip of A9 or above, iOS system of 11.0 or above.
Android mobile phone: memory of 3 GB or above, XiaoLong chip of 460 or above, Android system of 6.0 or above.
III. Log in the game
Before logging into the game, you need to complete the activation of Mission Frontier Battle Pass. If you haven’t done so, please refer to the guide below:
Mission Frontier Battle Pass Guide
During the 8/8–8/28 SGT test period, log in to the game via an email account with activated Mission Frontier Battle Pass
1) Open the game
2) Enter your email on the login page, click “send” to get the email verification code; enter the code to log into the game.
3）After successfully logging in, you do not need to enter the verification code again next time you login to the game, unless you change your account number or mobile device.
Ⅳ. How to start the game
1. Game mode selection
Enter the lobby, click the “Mode Selection” above the START button to open the mode selection interface. Select “COMPETITIVE or TEAMMATCH” according to your preference, you can switch modes.
2. Single or Team match to play
Single Match
Click “START” in the lower right corner of the lobby to enter the team interface, and directly click “START MATCH” to start matching.
Team Match
1) Enter the lobby, click “START” in the lower right corner of the lobby to open the team interface, click the “+” button on the team interface, or click the “Friends List” on the right to invite your friends. After they join the team, your team will be ready for matching. You can form a team of up to 5 people.
2) Adding new friends can be done in the friend system interface and game settlement interface.
3. Create a room to play (This mode does not generate rewards)
1) Enter the lobby, click the “Mode Selection” on top of the PLAY button to open the mode selection interface. Select “ROOM”, then select “CREATE” to open the room creation interface.
2) You can adjust different modes, maps, number of rounds, whether to turn on assisted aiming and so on according to your preference.
Ⅴ. Game operation
1. Turn on the gyroscope
In the settings panel, select SENSITIVITY, and then select the Gyroscope Mode as ON to open, but also adjust the sensitivity, vertical inversion function.
2. Customize your avatar in lobby, and weapon display in profile
An icon will appear after clicking on the avatar in the lobby. Click on the icon to enter the customization interface; you can customize your avatar in the lobby, and the weapon column in your profile.
3. Identify your side：
1) The following symbols indicate Attackers and Defenders respectively
2) Within the game, click the match information at the top of your HUD to access the scoreboard. Your personal stats will stand out with a faint highlight and your name will be marked in green. Players listed under ‘RESISTANCE’ are attackers, while those under ‘URANUS’ are defenders. (For instance, the player showcased below is part of the attacking team).
3) Enemies will be outlined in red for easy identification.
4. In-game weapon purchase
1）When you start a game, you will find a store icon on the top left corner of HUD, click on it to open the store and buy weapons.
2) In Competitive Mode, at the beginning of each round, there will be a time limit for weapon purchases. After the time ends, weapons can only be purchased in the next round.
3) In Teammatch Mode, players can purchase weapons at any time as long as they are in their own base’s purchasing area.
5. EMP Planting and defusing the EMP in Competitive mode
1) Planting the EMP If you’re on the attacking team and have the EMP, head to either Site A/B. As you approach the EMP plant site, the EMP icon on your HUD will start to blink. Click on this icon and wait a few seconds to successfully plant the EMP.
2）Defusing the EMP If you’re on the defensive side, once you’ve located the precise spot where the EMP has been planted, click on the defuse icon in the HUD and wait a few seconds to successfully defuse the EMP.
6. Adding friends
Enter the game lobby, click on the “Friend List” on the right side, click on ADD FRIEND in the interface or the icon in the lower right corner to open “Add Friends”, input the friend’s name or ID to send a friend request. Once the friend request is accepted, the friend is successfully added.
Ⅵ. Case-opening and weapon skins
1. Case-opening
1）Click “WORKSHOP” at the bottom left of the lobby to enter the case-opening interface, and then click “UNLOCK” to open the case.
2）Participate in ranked matches or level up in the game to get cases containing weapon skins of different quality and wear.
2. Equip weapon skins
1）Click “EQUIPMENT” at the bottom left of the lobby to enter the assembly interface, choose your favorite skin and then click “EQUIP” to assemble.
2）The are 4 classes of weapon skins, the highest class is Legendary.
3）Every weapon skin comes with wear and tear, and each wear value is unique. The lower the wear value, the newer the skin looks, and usually, the higher the value of the skin.
According to the degree of wear, there are 4 levels. From low to high, they are: Factory Fresh, Coating Scratched, Material Scarred, Battle Hardened. Among them, Factory Fresh has the lowest wear value.
