Matrixed.Link Joins the Chainlink Network as a Node Operator

To date, the Chainlink Network has delivered 2B+ data points, helping secure tens of billions of dollars in value for decentralized applications across the Web3 ecosystem. This growth is underpinned by a network of top node operators, which includes DevOps teams from global telecom giants such as Deutsche Telekom and Swisscom.

Today, we’re excited to announce that Matrixed.Link — a leading DLT service provider — has joined this group of world-class node operators to help provide the critical infrastructure needed to service the billions of data requests received through Chainlink.

Matrixed.Link’s journey to joining the Chainlink Network began last year at the Chainlink Oracle Olympics, a competition that simulates the real-world conditions that Chainlink node operators face. Entrants were tasked with the challenge of running Chainlink nodes that achieved 24/7 uptime in the face of adverse network conditions, with the winner earning a coveted place as a node operator in the Chainlink Network. While we performed well, our efforts to win the competition and join the Chainlink Network proved unsuccessful.

Instead of giving up, we spent the next year improving our DevOps skillset, stress testing our nodes, acquiring a customer base, connecting with community node operators, and building a profitable business. Our success as an independent community node operator has been recognized and we’re now officially joining the Chainlink Network as a node operator.

We were motivated to join the Chainlink Network as a node operator because it would give us the opportunity to play a key role in expanding the rapidly growing Web3 economy. We also recognized that being able to receive rewards for providing data points on-chain was a huge opportunity for our node operator business.
