Russell’s teapot isn’t real. Rape is. This isn’t some theorietical discussion to determine who is more logical.
The entire premise of the cartoon was predicated on the idea that a group of, presumably intelligent, if somewhat axiomatically diabolical, supervillains were, collectively, unable to think of one reason why anyone would falsely accuse someone of rape.
Not exactly. I can think of “one reason why anyone would falsely accuse someone of rape,” however, it is absurd to think forty women are making it up. And it doesn’t mean I’ve thrown concern for our entire justice system in the garbage can to state as much.
