I’m writing a story about the making of the font for when it is eventually released, but I was inspired by a few pages I’ve linked below:

I think you would find the `opbd` (Optical Bounds) feature here interesting, as you can handle hanging punctuation (which was inspired by https://blot.im/typeset/).

Unfortunately you can’t adapt most fonts as they don’t permit it in the licensing!
