Probably a better bet to trust a young, dedicated startup
Your strategy’s last message to developers

Not necessarily. This once again comes back to the business model. Netflix shut its public API once its purpose (rapid support for all viewing platforms) was fulfilled. Venmo (from above) is a startup. I think the better statement would be, “Probably a better bet to trust a company whose API business model depends on the long term success of the developers who use the API.”
