Yeah, totally. Often when I think of product designers, the user research aspects are less implied (though usually present) and there is more demand on having a deep business understanding to go with the design knowledge. Similarly, our PO often lives in the UX Design world with me, but his primary responsibility is the product roadmap, and taking in input from stakeholders, customers, understanding business, and understanding the needs of other departments such as sales and support.
