Just making sure I’m following, this would mean that each state would then need representation in each committee (~16 senate committees, ~20 congressional committees). You mention that people could skip voting for committees they’re not interested in, but for people who want to have a voice across the board I can see them being overwhelmed by the sheer number of candidates with which they’d need to familiarize themselves. How can you mitigate that? Perhaps staggering the voting for each committee would suffice?
