Edinburgh City

This trip had been in the making for sometime. Trying to squeeze hectic schedules in with work life and day to day business is not easy. However, February of 2017 was the right time to head to the Scottish isles for a break we both needed.

My first time in Scotland was met by the best hotel I think I have ever stayed in. Amazing view, amazing staff and great food.

No rest for the wicked!

We walked, and walked and walked and walked a little bit more around the grand city. Admiring views, drinking exceptional coffee and enjoying the company

Harry Potter`s birthplace

I am by no means a ‘walker’. But as avid photographers myself and Alice wanted to witness the sighs of Edinburgh from the locals. The Harry Potter tour allowed us to both geek over the wizardry wonders that JK Rowling found so fascinating and take some stunning imagery at the same time. What a tour, highly recommended!

Calton Hill

If I am honest, the thought of going 103 metres in the air terrifies me, even now. But you cant go to Edinburgh and not visit the peak of the city

Edinburgh was ace and we will certainly be going back very soon
