“Am I crazy if I think people don’t like me and will judge me?”

Nope. Because some people won’t like you.

Some people won’t like the real you. That’s ok. They don’t have to.

Some people won’t like the person you pretend to be. Isn’t that enough of a reason to be the real you? Because then at least one person will like you.

And yes, people will judge you.

They might judge you as someone they don’t want to be friends with.

But.

They might judge you as awesome, and as compassionate, and as someone they’d want to be friends with.

You’re not crazy.

What might be crazy is if you pretended to be someone you’re not to get people to want to be friends with you.

Because you deserve better than that, and they deserve better than that.

And because there are people out there that will want to be friends with who you really are, and you’re depriving yourself and them of that chance.
