Lucky Star
Konata Izumi, the main character of the show is lazy and always tries to run away from her school responsibilities. Most anime picks boy to play the lazy part so it is fun to watch her for a change. Konata is shortest among the group which makes her somewhat funny.

The show revolves around four girls in high school and their struggle to keep their music club together. The lead character Yui Hirasawa comes with no background in the field but later becomes a very good guitarist. If you are a music fan then you will love this anime.

Slam Dunk
This is an old anime but it is good one with sports based theme. Sakuragi Hanamichi, is a “genius” player of basketball. The story is about the basketball player trying to impress a girl and along the way gain wins for his school. The anime is all about the sport along with comedy.

The anime is set in a school but it follows around a teacher. While Onizuka decides to become a teacher; but is not like most teacher who are in their middle age. This is an anime full of romantic relationships, comedy and misunderstood people. In the show, there is a girl that says whatever she wants and has an attitude. The show is high school theme based.

It is a very popular anime which story follows around Tomoya Okazaki. He is a delinquent and don’t have a good relationship with his father. His life doesn’t seem on the right track until he meets Nagisa. Things change from then as the girl brings a change in his life.

The story revolves around a “single dad”, which is very unique in a way that most anime focus on students. Daikichi adopts 6 years old; girl illegitimate daughter of his grand dad. The anime focuses on his hardship to raise the child.

Hayate the Combat Butler
The main character of the anime, Hayate Ayasaki, is forced into work when he was very young. Hayate parents are not very responsible and decide that they should sell their organs in exchange for money. They have put a huge debt on Hayate shoulders. He decides to runaway and meets with Nagi Sanzenin, a very wealthy girl, and falls for her. He then takes a job as her butler and the story starts from there.

School Rumble
This anime follows a love triangle between three characters; two of them are the leads. Both the leads cannot find courage to express their feelings. Harima Kenji, the male lead, likes the female lead, Tenma Tsukamoto. However, Tenma has a crush on Oji Karasuma. This starts a love triangle. They are not the only main focus of the show, other couples are also there and there are many comedic scenes.
