All sites have their issues. But Twitter seems unreasonably so.
I just came across something I want to share. I have questions at the end of this post.
#1) This tweet from Nassim Taleb is a “Retweet with Comment.”
#2) This tweet is the original tweet he “Retweeted with Comment.”
Notice that #2 states that it so far been Retweeted 2 times. You can see Nassim Taleb’s profile pic down there, but the reason it’s there is to indicate that he “Liked” the tweet.
#3) This image lists the accounts who have Retweeted #2. Nassim Taleb is missing.
A major problem with this structure is that Nassim Taleb’s “Retweet with Comment” gets missed when reading the original tweet (#2), or the tweet ‘comment stream’ under it.
Is there some kind of reasonable logic to this ? Or is Twitter unreasonably broken?
Am I missing something here?
