5 Fail Proof Steps To Finding Your Perfect Career

Now lets be honest with ourselves. We all want to be millionaires and be able to not have to work another day of our lives. Well with these steps you too can find a career that is both fulfilling and allows for you to have the perfect career plus a job that you will both enjoy and make money.

Step 1 — Make a list of all the things you enjoy to do.

This can be anything that you enjoy doing, ranging from hobbies to chores you don’t mind performing around the house. This should be a list of things that make you feel good and are fun. Be free to feel creative, the more the better.

Step 2 — Now add all of the things the things you are good at.

The things that we are good at might coincide with the things that we enjoy. That is alright. This is a list to make that will allow for you to expand on all of the things that you think you are good at and others have said you are good at such as sports, driving, math, science, reading, writing, etc. This will help to broaden your list to include more factors of what you want to do.

Step 3 — Cross out everything that sounds exciting, fun, requires an education, that we enjoy, involves exercise and pays good.

No seriously cross that shit out. We have to be honest with ourselves here. The real world won’t accept your dreams, so why not confront that now. It is better to be real with who you are than to believe yourself to be something great only to fail miserably. We all need to accept that we won’t be big ass millionaires or boss ass philanthropists.

Step 4 — Add fry cook at McDonald’s, barista at Starbucks, and cashier at Walmart to your list.

This step is really important. It was one that you should never skip. Even though they might not look like much, they are always good to add to the mix.

Step 5 — See what you have left.

If you are left with anything besides fry cook at McDonald’s, barista at Starbucks or cashier at Walmart, congrats you have found the perfect career for yourself. If not…

Congrats on finding your perfect career.

Now you will be able to live the most amazing life of generic beer, boxed wine, public transportation, and vacations to the local water park or staying home for a week so you don’t have to deal with people.

Don’t worry about not striking it big. You will have plenty of time to keep trying to make the list over and over in your head until you feel you have gotten it right. Until then, I will have fries with that or soy instead of milk or but the sign said the price was $2.99.
