HANOI CITY SUNDAY BIKE RIDE

Hang out with new friends, learn a bit of everything from Vietnamese history to contemporary German art. Above all, a good chill-out on weekend.

Anyone with a bike is welcomed. If you don’t have one, please check out rental places shown in our map link . (Green stars)

In case it rains, well, wear a raincoat ?


7:00 AM — GATHERING

Gather in the fountain right in the middle of Old Quarter.





7:15 AM — BREAKFAST

We are gonna come to Tam Thuong lane, a small lane whose various typical features of Old Quarter.




7:45 AMHOA LO PRISON

Get to see Hoa Lo prison, learn about how Vietnamese people depict Vietnam war.

(Warning: will be a little bit biased, ha ha)


9:00 AM — GOETHE INSTITUTE

See the exhibition of Reinhard Kleist, an artist from Germany. Famous for depicting artists’ biography in comic books.




2:30 PMONION CELLAR

English Discussion: backpacking spirit.

4:30 PM FREE RIDING AROUND WEST LAKE

The whole riding lasting 17,5 km around West lake will take you about 1,5 hours


P/S: If you can’t spend the whole day with us, let’s come at either

7:00 AM at Old Quarter Fountain or

2:30 PM at Ham Hanh cafe.

Would be riding on the road between those times so can’t be sure we can catch up.
