The Need to Adapt
Once again it’s week two of boot camp, and like always, everything has changed. I came into boot camp with the frame of mind that I was sure of the structure. But then I met something entirely new. No interactive skill sessions, we have to watch videos, everyone gets the same project, where we had to complete a certain phase each week. The sudden change from NoSQL to SQL didn’t help matters too. I had to learn new things, (well that’s the fun part).
With all these changes I had to change my mindset so as to fit into this new environment, I had to adapt. Change behaviors I knew wasn’t going to help me.
I had to change my style of learning, I love video tutorials, but for this project, I realized that with the many docs for the POSTIT project I had to read.
Learning to ask questions was necessary too since nobody is an I island, to get out of any ditch(blocker), I had to ask for help.
Been adaptable, takes a lot of sacrifice, and to surmount every coding challenge or any challenge in life, we all need to be adaptable, and ready to make sacrifices.
