My brother bought an Oculus Rift bundle (he’s in video game design, so he can justify it) and it sounds like they have some cool art/exploratory games going on that platform. I wonder if they’ve chosen the shoot ’em ups for this setting based on the likely participants (who’s going to put a public VR headset on their face in a movie theater lobby)?

ETA: that’s not to say that violent games aren’t the bread-and-butter of the industry.
