1) Meeting with Delegations of Switzerland (2/9)
Interdisciplinary group from Basel, the healthcare hub of Switzerland and Europe, visited MediBloc office located in Seoul. The delegation showed tremendous interest in MediBloc and encouraged further development of our product, which will become the new paradigm in the medical information industry. The delegation also expressed their desire to maintain close relationship to take healthcare to a next level.
2) MediBloc Selected as a Member of ShinHan Future’s Lab Fourth Generation! (2/8)
MediBloc was selected as a member of Shinhan Future’s Lab Fourth Generation, an accreditation program run by Shinhan Financial Group. Shinhan Future’s Lab aims to support selected start-ups by mentoring, connecting with investors and business partners, and providing an optimal working space. MediBloc expects to have an opportunity to collaborate with Shinhan Life Insurance, Korea’s leading insurance group, as Shinhan Financial Group that runs Shinhan Future’s Lab program is a parent company of Shinhan Life Insurance.
3) MediBloc at Tokyo Blockchain Meet-Up (1/26)
Wookyun Kho, CEO from MediBloc presented MediBloc’s vision and current progress and discussed how blockchain can change daily lives of Japanese people at Tokyo Blockchain Meet-Up.
In this Meet-Up, Founders from Energo, Halal Chain, and INK chain participated to discuss the current landscape of Japanese Blockchain Industry.

Forbes shortlisted 10 South Korean Startups powering into 2018. Among these startups, MediBloc is highlighted as one of the most promising blockchain startup in the field of medical technology.

The story of MediBloc’s co-founders was featured in DongA.com, one of the most influential Media in Korea.
The level of global interest in MediBloc as the first healthcare blockchain business that issued cryptocurrency in Korea was very high. DongA.com introduces two co-founders of Medibloc who gave up their high doctor’s salary and jumped into a whole new blockchain world.
