Oops, you did it again.
Fingers flying, words pouring out of your brain and flowing effortlessly through your fingers into the keyboard, your story is taking flight.
Then suddenly: brain fart. You unconsciously hit command-A-delete in one fluid motion. Your words disappear just as autosave sucks them away, seemingly forever. Panic ensues!

Fear not.
Look up to the top right corner for this button:

Click it, and you will get a list of save points for your story, listed by time and date.

Choose the time to which you want to revert, and it will load a read-only reverted draft. When you find the version you want to reload, click to restore that version.

Or, copy and paste a certain section from a reverted draft and paste it into your current story.
Those who do not revert their history are doomed to rewrite it.
