Meetup as a gateway to the real people & communities in Japan(日本でのリアルな人＆コミュニティへのゲートウェイとしてのMeetup)

Meetup is now available in Japanese since October this year. So, what does this mean for the Meetup users around the world?
（Meetupは今年の10月から日本語での利用が可能になりました。さて、このことは世界中のMeetup利用者にとってどのような意味があるでしょうか？）

It means more Meetup groups and more active community members have been joining in Japan every day. Thus it could be a very niche, yet interesting and unique way of meeting with real, local people when someone outside of Japan make a visit in Japan.
（日本においてMeetup グループ、Meetupメンバーが毎日続々と誕生していることを意味します。そしてそれはつまり、海外の人が日本を訪れる際、とてもニッチではあるものの、面白く、ユニークな方法でリアルで地域に根ざした人と会えることを意味します。）

Let’s take a few examples by searching for a Meetup in Kyoto. You could find
language exchange group, international dining club,and startup founders Meetup, etc…

You are interested in art & culture in Tokyo area? There are Museum Meetup, Art Lovers Meetup, as well as Kimono Cultural Exchange and Comic Artist Meetup.
（東京圏にあるアートや文化に興味がある場合には、美術館に関するMeetup, アート愛好家Meetup、そして着物と国際交流に関するグループやコミック・アーティストのMeetupを見つけることができます。）

Thanks to the growing trend of sharing economy here in Japan, there are many opportunities where visitors could meet, lean, and share things you are really passionate about. Yes, there are packaged tour with professional guide, but imagine how wonderful it is if you could meet somebody who shares the same passion in the foreign country.
