I’ve moved to nowheresville for pay and professional opportunities as a single woman. It was awesome. Guys would move there and then quit because their spouses and families couldn’t handle the lack of social opportunity. Single women would move there and have a huge open dating pool as well as job pool. I met my husband there and ended up leaving with him because he was pursuing a college degree. I think my career would have had an awesome trajectory if I had stayed a few years longer.
