“Stay hungry, stay foolish”

Occasionally, you need to be reminded of the reasons why you started it all. To be reminded of your wide-eyed innocence and curiosity that had you started on studying and learning. A nice little talk with someone who shares the same interest and enthusiasm was all I need to feel motivated and inspired again. It is so easy to be lost in all the daily details. And for a few moments there, I thought that I needed to achieve certain things to earn some fancy titles or to impress some people. Then I am reminded today of how I have always been craving for “knowledge” since my childhood. It has opened my eyes and widened my horizon. And that should be the reason to accomplish things I set out to do. And I am grateful for all the chances that I have been given to keep learning and “hoarding” knowledge. And I should continue on my journey to “conquer” for more.

Thinking about it, the 2 things that have changed my life are English and the Internet. I can’t say enough of how English has played a major role in my life. And for the Internet, I am making a living out of it right about now.

I just finally donated to Wikipedia yesterday, fulfilling my old promise many years ago as a child when I discovered Wikipedia in its early days. It has taught me so much and I am forever thankful.

*The title is so cliche I can’t think about it without cringing. >_< But it is just so true.
