Bycicle was considered as a devil's instrument at the beginning of the XXth century.

In almost every country.

A forbidden invention.

It was dangerous and local laws contributed to depict the two wheels with terror.
Priests and women were not allowed to ride them.

And then they came along: the daredevil female riders. 
From exhausting long distance competitions to world records to harming stunts, such as Margaret Gast.

German born, US immigrant, she rode miles on the street and miles for women's rights.
Mastering the threatening and treacherous object.
Ignoring the narrow and accusing common morality.
The right to wrote indeed passed through the right to ride.
